Truist Bank is shutting down some metro Atlanta locations as part of the company’s plan to shrink its retail footprint.
Eight of the departing branches are in Georgia. Of those, six are in metro Atlanta, one is in Dalton and one is in Macon.
This week, Truist Bank officials announced it is closing 4% of over 1,900 branches in March. A Truist spokesperson said in an email to WABE that impacted customers were notified earlier this month.
