“The Final Year” is a documentary about President Barack Obama’s last year in office.

Filmmakers had access to the president and his foreign policy team as they tried to solidify their policies in advance of a new administration.

One of the key members of that team was then-U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power, who’s a former Atlantan. She’s now a professor of Practice of Global Leadership and Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Power joined “Morning Edition” host Denis O’Hayer for a conversation about the film, her work with the Obama administration and Trump’s approach to foreign policy.
