Secret Recording Rocks Republican Gubernatorial Primary Runoff
In a recording, gubernatorial candidate Casey Cagle says he worked to pass a bill in order to ensure that another candidate would not get millions of dollars in campaign funding from a political action committee.

The war of words in the runoff for the Republican nomination for governor has escalated dramatically. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has obtained a secret recording, made by Clay Tippins, who finished fourth in the May 22 primary.
In the recording, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, who finished first, says he worked to pass a bill, even though he thought it was a bad one, in order to ensure that another candidate, Hunter Hill, would not get millions of dollars in campaign funding from a political action committee.
