Atlanta United To Host World Cup Viewing Parties

Atlanta United and various local businesses are getting ready to host World Cup viewing parties all over the city starting Friday.

The 2018 World Cup is here and if you cannot get to Russia to watch in-person there’s always a chance to experience the sights and sounds of the largest club tournament on Earth at your local watering hole. In the case of Atlanta, this summer brings soccer fans a bit more than just a seat at the bar to watch the matches.

Atlanta United and various local businesses are getting ready to host World Cup viewing parties all over the city starting Friday. The locations selected for the viewing parties, like the popular Little Five Points bar Brewhouse Cafe and midtown Irish pub RiRa, normally packed with soccer fans coming from all over to watch their favorite professional clubs play will be looking to do the same in massive numbers.

Signature matches will be the highlight of individual viewing parties. With multiple matches being shown on the weekends to accommodate thousands of soccer fans living in and visiting Atlanta, in particular after the rise of Atlanta United and the early success of the second-year franchise.
