President Joe Biden delivered Morehouse College’s commencement address on Sunday. During his speech, the President addressed several current topics, including the fate of democracy, the Israel-Hamas war, his effort to erase student debt and address systemic issues that impact Black people.
On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” WABE education reporter Juma Sei discussed Biden’s speech and how graduates and audience members received it.
He also discussed Morehouse valedictorian DeAngelo Fletcher’s speech, where he called for an immediate cease-fire in Gaza.
