Comedian Josh Blue doesn’t shy away from his disability in his stand up. He embraces it wholeheartedly.

Blue has cerebral palsy and much of his material focuses on how others perceive him. In 2006, he won the “Last Comic Standing” competition, which really launched off his career. He was also a member of the United States Paralympics National Soccer Team.

“I feel like being apart of that team was a turning point in my life because up until that point, I didn’t know many people with disabilities or cerebral palsy and all of the sudden I’m embedded in a group of guys are really embracing their disability and not just surviving, but thriving,” said Blue.
