Michael Stipe was the lead singer of the band R.E.M. for 31 years. During his time with R.E.M. the band won three Grammy Awards and grew to be one of the most popular bands of the 1990s.

Stipe became known for his distinct vocal style and his obscure lyrics. Before music, his first love was photography. Last year, he published a book of photos titled “Volume 1.” And now he’s out with a new book.
