Around almost every turn in Atlanta, you’ll find restaurants that serve up an array of dishes, ranging from soul food to Italian cuisine, that are also vegan.

Experience the sweet, savory and flavorful taste of vegan foods during this year’s World Vegan Month.

Nov. 1, World Vegan Day, kicks off World Vegan Month, lasting through November.

World Vegan Day began in November 1994 as a way of recognizing The Vegan Society’s 50th anniversary, which was started by “The Father of Veganism” Donald Watson back in 1944.

Veganism focuses on living an animal cruelty-free life and restricts the use of products that come from animals, such as meat, eggs and dairy.

We are rerunning our curated list of local vegan restaurants. Use it as a guide to help you celebrate the veganism lifestyle.
