Legendary pop and soul act the Righteous Brothers have been soundtracking our lives since the ’60s with one of the most-played songs on classic radio ever – “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling.” They also gave us the unforgettable “Unchained Melody,” “Time of Your Life” and “(You’re My) Soul and Inspiration.”

Now, there’s more to these Rock and Roll Hall of Famers’ stories. “Straight From the Heart,” the first new album from Bill Medley in over a decade, showcases one of the wealthiest baritones in what fans fondly call “blue-eyed soul,” singing a collection of classic country ballads.

“City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with Medley about his latest album of country collaborations, which will be released Feb. 21.
