Teen Journalist Shares His Perspective On The COVID-19 Pandemic

For nearly 20 years, young people around the globe have covered “news for kids, by kids” as part of the award-winning Scholastic Kids Press. And, last year, a local budding journalist was chosen to participate in the press corps.

Eighth-grade student Bryce Jones of Woodstock joined “Closer Look with Rose Scott” last October for a conversation about what it’s like to be a teen reporter.

On Friday, he joined “Closer Look” again, this time by phone, for a conversation about what it’s like to be a teen journalist during the coronavirus pandemic.
