Joe Berganini was in his early twenties when he woke up in jail. Once Joe found his sobriety he began to find a way to navigate this new life through education and faith.

Joe sat down with his friend Dan Enger to talk about this period of his life, how he found empathy while incarcerated and how today, Joe is giving back.

This recording was done in partnership with Global Dialogues and Hearts to Nourish Hope, a nonprofit that provides programs to encourage and empower at-risk youth.
