The Atlanta Opera is lifting spirits in their favorite way.
Members of the Atlanta Opera are recording singing telegrams and then sending them out to those who need it most. The telegrams first went out to senior centers, but the Atlanta Opera plans on sending out more telegrams to medical workers and first responders.
Songs include numbers taken from the Great American Songbook and ones that reflect the singers’ own personal connections and taste when it comes to music.
