The decades old science fiction and gaming convention known as Dragon Con will have a new look and feel this year.

The sci-fi costumes remain, but you won’t have to trek to downtown Atlanta to participate.

For the first time in its 34-year history, Dragon Con is canceling its convention this year, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Organizers say in its place, will be a free, virtual convention.

Details are still being worked out.

Fans who’ve already purchased their 2020 tickets can exchange them for next year or request a refund.

Both options are available at www.dragoncon.org.
