Graduation rates among Georgia high schools reached 87.2% for the Class of 2025, a new record since federal law began requiring the adjusted cohort calculation in 2011.
The state graduation rate rose from 85.4% in 2024 and has risen 19.8 percentage points since 2011.
“I am so proud of Georgia’s class of 2025 and the teachers, staff, and families who supported them,” State School Superintendent Richard Woods said in a Monday press release.
