Human Rights Campaign president talks doubling down on its mission in current political climate

For more than 40 years, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) has been on the frontlines advocating for LGBTQ+ rights. 

Though progress has been made, data shows many LGBTQ+ rights are now under threat, given the current political and social climate.

As a guest on Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Kelly Robinson, who serves as the president of HRC, explained why she believes now is the time to take action and put pressure on elected officials to create policy that centers all the people of this nation.
