For years, Westside Atlanta neighborhoods have been asking for better public transit.
When the city of Atlanta passed a half-penny sales tax increase to expand MARTA bus and rail service, updating the Bankhead station was a priority. Now, those long-awaited improvements may be on the fast-track.
“With Microsoft, it’s an even bigger opportunity,” said MARTA General Manager and CEO Jeffrey Parker.
