Tuesday night’s elections in Georgia are among those that captured national attention. For the first time in nearly two decades, Democrats flipped two Republican held seats on the Georgia Public Service Commission.

Locally, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens was reelected, winning 85% of the vote, and two-term Atlanta City Councilmember Marci Collier Overstreet is declaring victory in the race for Atlanta City Council President.
