‘May The 4th Be With You’: Scott Stewart Shares His Star Wars Day Soundtrack

May 4 is deemed as Star Wars Day due to the pun, “May the fourth be with you.” There are worldwide virtual celebrations of one of the most influential movie franchises of all time.
Much of the success of “Star Wars” is due to master composer John Williams, who has written over eighteen hours of music for these nine movies, not to mention the ever-expanding library of prequels, sequels and spinoffs.
WABE film music contributor Dr. Scott Stewart shared some “Star Wars” soundtrack highlights with “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes.
