Georgia Power bills could go down a bit beginning this summer.

If state regulators approve a pair of proposals Georgia Power filed this week, a typical residential customer would see bills go down by a little over $1.30 a month.

Georgia Power spokesperson Alicia Brown said the filings show the “continued commitment from Georgia Power to make sure that our customers have reliable power and they also don’t see a huge increase in their bills.”
