STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — Construction crews are working across a 31.1-acre piece of land as they construct a mixed-use development on the former site of the Stone Mountain Tennis Center, which served as a venue during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
Costco will be the anchor tenant. The site is located at 1915 West Park Place Blvd.
The project called Mountain Marketplace, is led by Fuqua Development and will include a Chick-fil-A, Whataburger, a bank and a community park. Greystar, a developer that entered the project with Fuqua, is also building a 248-unit residential development on six acres in the area, according to a Greystar news release from November 2025.
