According to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), over the past two years, legislation targeting LGBTQ rights nearly tripled across the United States.

This year, the ACLU is tracking 429 bills that it considers to be “anti-LGBTQ” in state legislatures across the nation.

On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” show host Rose Scott talks with Andrea Young, the executive director of the ACLU of Georgia, about eight bills that are currently before Georgia lawmakers.
