An Amazing Colossal Conversation With Gilbert Gottfried

Gilbert Gottfried is in town for a three-night stand at the Improv Comedy Club. The famed comedian is known for his uniquely abrasive voice work, which he recently lent to a sketch on the website College Humor. In the video, Gottfried narrates passages from the book “50 Shades of Grey.”

We can’t play any of that, so we asked him if he could read us a passage from something a little more public radio-friendly.

So we asked Gilbert Gottfried to read from D.H. “Lawrence’s Lady Chatterley’s Lover.” He obliged and we proceeded to have a rollicking conversation that covered everything from his children’s budding comedy careers, anti-Semitism, and his role in communicating with a child with autism.

Gilbert Gottfried performs at Atlanta’s Improv Comedy Club Friday March 13 and Saturday March 14. We have more details at Atlanta PlanIt.
