There are more and more signs that Georgia is taking the nations declared opioid crisis seriously.

Strides are being made in Georgia to curb opioid use. A new report by the American Medical Association suggest it’s mainly due to doctors taking heed and thinking twice, maybe even three times, before prescribing.

Forney spoke about what Georgia is doing to curb the opioid crisis here with Lisa Rayam on “Morning Edition.”
