On the “City Lights” series “Speaking of Art,” local artists share insights into their influences, processes and experiences in town. This edition focuses on Adam Crawford, an artist, designer and curator based out of downtown Atlanta’s Cat Eye Creative.
Crawford creates art across various mediums, from three-dimensional sculptures to graffiti and oil painting. He’s the founder of the Cat Eye Creative gallery, which hosts artists from all walks of life and constantly updates its exhibition space.
“Cat Eye Creative is a special, special place to see a variety of work” says Crawford. The gallery is eclectic in its approach and visitors are liable to find a “very fine oil painting next to a piece of graffiti, next to a piece of neon, next to a piece of pop art.”
