On the “City Lights” series “Speaking of Art,” local artists share insights into their influences, processes and experiences in town. This edition features multidisciplinary artist and St. Louis transplant Leslie Anne.
“I don’t like to put myself in a box in terms of how I can express myself through art,” says Anne, “my work is kind of Afro-futuristic, it’s a bit surrealist, and just expressive overall. There’s a lot of emotion.”
