On the “City Lights” series “Speaking of Art,” local artists share insights into their influences, processes and experiences in town. This edition focuses on Aaron Artrip, an audio-visual artist from Atlanta.
He creates in various mediums, including printmaking, immersive installations and performances.
“My work usually starts with using some form of music technology,” said Artrip. He continued, “My most recent body of work I used synthesizers and club lasers to investigate what sound might look like as a sculptural property.”
