Amid the pandemic, as flu season approaches, medical experts like Morehouse School of Medicine’s Dr. Michelle Nichols are concerned that the nation could experience a twindemic.
On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Nichols talked with program host Rose Scott about the importance of getting vaccinated, the safety of the flu and the COVID-19 vaccines.
“Based on the science and based on what the recommendations are, they are now saying that it is safe to take both the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine at the same time,” explained the veteran physician.
