Tyler Perry Studios announced Monday its newest cohort for the TPS Dreamers, a seven-week full-time paid internship for students interested in pursuing a career in the film and television industry.
The 14 students nationwide included six from Georgia-based colleges and universities. They include Laila Ashlyn Ward (Georgia Southern University), Mel Saxton (SCAD), Laila Aisha Surafie (Spelman), Andrew Johnson (Clark Atlanta University), James Harper and Stephen Jackson (Morehouse).
“We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our 3rd cohort of talented and enthusiastic interns!” said the studio in a Monday Instagram post. “These bright minds from all over the country are ready to contribute fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to our projects and initiatives.”
