In 2023, Atlanta City Council members addressed several issues and initiatives that raised public interest and outrage.
On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Atlanta City Council President Doug Shipman joined the program to discuss the political matters championed and challenged by council members and the public this year.
Shipman also talked about the current state of affordable housing in Atlanta, infrastructure and the ongoing debate about the proposed Atlanta Public Safety Training Center. In addition, Shipman discussed the Atlanta City Council’s top priorities for 2024.
