A popular Atlanta coffee shop is collaborating with hip-hop duo Outkast in honor of the 25th anniversary of the hip-hop duo’s “ATLiens” hit album “Stankonia.”

Portrait Coffee, a Black-owned coffee shop in Atlanta’s West End district, celebrated the release of its Stankonia Coffee collection on its social media account on Friday, releasing a promotional video that has garnered over 45,000 views.

The collection, which is described as “a celebration of sound, soul and storytelling,” reimagines the legacy of the hit album through coffee.

“The collection came to life through a shared love for Atlanta, its sound, and its creativity,” said Potrait Coffee owner Aaron Fender in a statement to WABE. “When Outkast’s team reached out about celebrating Stankonia’s 25th anniversary, we wanted to honor the album’s energy through coffee, design, and community. More than anything, we hope people feel the pride and originality that make Atlanta so special every time they experience this collection.”

Originating from Rwanda and Colombia, the coffee package offers tasting notes of green apple, strawberry and brown sugar.

In addition to the beverage, adjacent merchandise includes a 25th anniversary T-shirt, a Stankonia Diner Mug and a Stankonia Fellow Carter Mug.

Formed in Atlanta by Andre “3000” Benjamin and Antwan “Big Boi” Patton, the hip-hop duo first came onto the music scene in 1992 after being signed by LaFace Records.

In 1994, the artists achieved mainstream success with the release of their first studio album, “Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik,” recorded in its entirety across several studios in Atlanta.

The duo released two additional albums throughout the 1990s, “ATLiens” (1996) and “Aquemini” (1998), before releasing “Stankonia” on Halloween of 2000.

The album reached No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 shortly upon its release, producing chart-topping hits such as “So Fresh, So Clean,” “B.O.B.” and “Ms. Jackson,” the group’s first #1 song on the Billboard.

In addition to high sales, “Stankonia” received critical acclaim and a Grammy Award in 2002 for Best Rap Album.
