The Atlanta Community Food Bank has received nearly $500,000 in funds as a result of partnerships with Norfolk Southern, Walmart and Sam’s Club, the hunger relief organization announced this week.

The ACFB works with more than 700 nonprofit food distribution partners across the metro Atlanta and north Georgia region.

Walmart and Sam’s Club’s annual Fight Hunger, Spark Change campaign raised more than $378,000. The campaign partnered with 24 suppliers for Walmart and six suppliers for Sam’s Club. The campaign is in its 12th year.
