Atlanta’s dance scene is vibrant and eclectic, and “City Lights” is honored to highlight some of the many local dancers that move us with their movements in our ongoing series “Speaking of Dance.”
This edition highlights experimental Atlanta dance artist Hez Stalcup, who came to dance late in life.
“I specialize in experimental dance, which I like to think of when I’m going into the studio, it’s like a scientist going into the lab,” he said. “When I put on my Adidas pants, it’s like I’m putting on my lab coat.”
