The world of Fairmont Crest has long been present, yet often unseen. A mecca for the Black elite, the fictional Maryland suburb is home to mansions, swimming pools, luxury cars and designer clothes.

But behind it all, relationships are tested, secrets are exposed and long-built tensions slowly find themselves rising to the surface. And, on Feb. 24, viewers will finally be able to see it all come to light.

“Lies and secrets and love and hate and betrayal and all of that stuff … except it looks better,” said Michele Val Jean, creator of the upcoming CBS daytime drama “Beyond the Gates.”
