Atlanta Rescue Group Brings More Golden Retrievers From Turkey

Earlier this year, 36 golden retrievers were brought from Turkey to Atlanta to be adopted. This group of dogs is the second to come from Turkey. Pictured here, a golden retriever from the first group of dogs flown in from Turkey enjoys some outdoor time.

A dog adoption group has arrived in Atlanta with more than a dozen golden retrievers rescued from the streets of Turkey.
Adopt-a-Golden Atlanta flew in to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Sunday night with 15 dogs, multiple news outlets report.
This is the second group of dogs the charity has relocated from Turkey this year. The group also brought 36 golden retrievers to Atlanta on Mother’s Day weekend.
These dogs are younger and all of them are under 2 years old.
The dogs were taken straight to their foster homes and will get a check-up by veterinarians Monday morning. The group says they will be available for adoption a short time after that.
