For better or worse, with the collapse of major infrastructure, a total solar eclipse and one of the most expensive House races in history, Atlanta has had a busy year. And there are only a couple days left until the city gathers downtown to usher in 2018.
This year, though, that’s happening in a new location. After 28 years of dropping at Underground Atlanta, according to the AJC, the 8-foot peach now will drop from the Flatiron Building across from Woodruff Park, “in a continued effort to revitalize Downtown,” according to a City of Atlanta press release.
Because of the changes to this year’s New Year’s Eve festivities, WABE has compiled all the information, including a map, you will need to know to ring in the New Year on-location.
