“I don’t want to be the one who says, ‘Oh, it’s got something for people of all ages.’ But in this case, it actually does,” said Brian Hill, the executive director of the event for the past 10 years.

The Dogwood Festival features works from hundreds of artists from around the world, music, food and an international stage.

“Instead of being maybe the French-American festival or the Japanese-American festival, et cetera, this is the one festival where all of these cultures get to come together to create this magical tapestry of art and performance,” Hill said.

There’s also something recently added for Atlanta’s running community, a Mimosa 5K on Saturday morning.

The Atlanta Dogwood Festival, which is the third-oldest fine arts festival in the U.S., ends Sunday.
