Audio/Podcast Producer

Summary: WABE is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial audio producer with an experimental and or creative mindset to help us produce, test and launch new podcasts, as well as producing monthly StoryCorps Atlanta features for broadcast.

Accountabilities:

* Acting as creative producer for audio content

* Recording and editing podcast concepts for piloting

* Producing StoryCorps Atlanta feature

* Update archived StoryCorps Atlanta features for broadcast

* Making sure all relevant resources, from news items to guests, are sourced before recording

* Creating engaging audio content through storytelling.

* Help identify new podcast opportunities

* Manage and execute show production from inception through post mortem (pre-production, content writing, content collection, production, post production, publishing, etc…)

* Accessing the production process for each podcast pilot and help make key decisions

* Studio and field recording

* Experience in sound editing

* Understanding niche audiences, and how best to reach them

* Ideate and conceptualize audio content

* Being able to remain passionate about various genres of content

* Keeping up with developments in the podcast industry and audio technology

* Passionate podcast fan with interest in various genres

* Managing the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
