Atlanta author Tanya Valentine has published her second children’s book called “The Little Taco Truck.” This colorfully illustrated children’s book could make you so hungry, that you might pay a visit to Buford Highway (where she drew her inspiration).

Valentine’s story follows a taco truck trying to get his spot back on Union Street. This book teaches several lessons: learning how to stand up for yourself, allowing everyone to have a “seat at the table,” and being open-minded to change.

“I feel like in this political climate that it’s really important to just remind each other, and especially our kids, that it’s going to be fine and we’re not full. There’s room (in America) and people from all corners are welcome and appreciated,” Valentine said.

“The Little Taco Truck” is for sale online and Valentine will be at the Decatur Book Festival this fall to discuss it.
