DeKalb County School District’s Board voted to accept Superintendent Devon Horton’s resignation during a called special called meeting on Oct. 15.

His resignation is effective Nov. 15. School Board member Tiffany Hogan was the only member to vote against accepting it. It’s unclear why, but Hogan previously voted against extending Horton’s contract and giving him a raise.
