Brookhaven Police Will Use Unmanned Drones To Respond To 911 Calls

The Brookhaven Police Department is experimenting with a new program that will use unmanned drones to respond to emergencies.

The City Council voted this October to fund the technology.

While this is the first program of its kind in Georgia, police departments in other parts of the country — including California — have been using similar technology for a while.



On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look with Rose Scott,” Lieutenant Abrem Ayana shared how Brookhaven’s program will operate.
