Tremayne Perry had a vision to create a place for community and congregation.

Exhausted from driving out of his neighborhood for coffee, Perry opened BUZZ Coffee and Winehouse in Cascade Heights.

In December 2018, for the launch of “Closer Look’s” “Open For Business” series, show host Rose Scott interviewed Perry. He talked about the need for a communal space for coffee and the goals he had for the space.

Almost five years later, the coffee shop that has become a neighborhood staple in the Cascade Heights community is closing.

On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Perry returned to the program to discuss how the cost of doing business made it difficult for him.
