The CEO of a social-impact networking platform says the pandemic and ongoing protests throughout the country have exposed the need for racial equity in the workplace to groups that may have usually overlooked it.

Rhoden Monrose, who founded the CariClub to help young professionals grow their network, develop new skills and make an impact, says businesses play an essential role in society and politics, so companies need to be a part of solving the intricate problems.

“It’s unfortunate that it took so long for that awareness to happen, but at the same time, I have the feeling better late than never,” Monrose said.
