Atlanta City Councilman Andre Dickens says in order to have a prosperous and equitable Atlanta, the city first needs to be made safe. Dickens joined WABE’s “Morning Edition” to outline how he would invest in public safety as mayor.

So far, Dickens faces fellow council member Antonio Brown and council president Felicia Moore, as well as attorney Sharon Gay and former Mayor Kasim Reed on the November ballot.
