Cobb County Program Aims To Help Homeowners, Renters With Financial Challenges

The COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to economic instability for families across the nation, and the metro Atlanta is no exception.

Many people are struggling to make ends meet and, as a result, are struggling to pay rent and mortgage costs.

In August, the board of commissioners in Cobb County approved $4.8 million to provide grants to renters and homeowners in need of assistance through the county HomeSaver Program.



Earnest Davis, the program developer of the Cobb County HomeSaver Program, joined “Closer Look” host Rose Scott on Thursday’s edition of the program to discuss the new program, and other ways the county plans to assist residents in need.
