A metro Atlanta Health Department wants to learn more about its community’s perception of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale County Health Departments have released a vaccine-related survey to get the community’s insight.

Multiple coronavirus vaccines are currently in clinical trials, with none available to the general public. However, local survey organizers say they hope to garner enough results from their survey to determine their community’s willingness to receive a vaccine.

This inquiry intends to not only obtain demographic data but also to help the local health departments’ understand the community mindset.

Participants do not have to answer all questions to complete the survey.

If at any point, a participant wants to discontinue the survey, officials say they are welcome to close the screen, and no answers will be submitted.

Confidential and anonymous answers will be used for marketing and educational purposes only.
