Gov. Brian Kemp recently extended Georgia’s public health state of emergency to May 13 and extended the state’s shelter-in-place order through the end of the month.

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, more than 375 people have died due to COVID-19 in the state of Georgia.

Data also shows more than 10,500 Georgians have tested positive for the virus.

On a county level, Fulton and Dougherty counties each have more than 1,000 COVID-19 confirmed cases.

Globally, the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention continue to track the virus.

Secure Data Kit, a global health online platform, works with several public health organizations to translate complex data into easy digestible content.
