Cybersecurity expert says March Madness presents prime target for scammers

The Better Business Bureau is warning fans to be cautious of scammers looking to use the fervor around March Madness to take advantage of unsuspecting consumers. 

The BBB says as the popularity of sports betting has taken off in recent years, scammers have found new ways to steal one’s money or even identity with realistic-looking websites or apps.
