It’s a different world now for Peter Hubbard, one of two Democrats elected to the Public Service Commission who flipped two of the long-standing Republican held seats in the agency.
The PSC consists of five elected commissioners responsible for regulating Georgia’s major utilities—electric, natural gas and telecommunications—mainly setting rates and serving as a check-and-balance body on behalf of consumers.
Hubbard, a long-time clean energy advocate, told “Closer Look” host Rose Scott he’s adjusting to the “other side of policy” work now as a commissioner and vowed to work with fellow commissioners.
