Buzz Busbee, who recently participated in  The Decatur Retail Incubator Program (The D.R.I.P.), says it was one of the best opportunities he’s had since launching YEAHBUZZY.

On Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look,” the owner and creative director of the lifestyle apparel brand told program host Rose Scott that The DRIP program allowed him to set up shop in a brick-and-motor location for six months.

During the conversation, he said that he also had the opportunity to learn from business mentors while gaining hands-on experience in visual merchandising and received human resource training.

Shirley Baylis, the Downtown Program Manager for the City of Decatur who oversees The DRIP, was also a guest on the program. She discussed the overall goals of the program and what’s next for it moving forward.
