Drive Thru ATL Offers A Chance To Enjoy Art While Still Remaining Safe

The Creative Project is the team behind a new innovative and experimental exhibition platform that will be happening Saturday here in Atlanta. Drive Thru ATL is the event, and the goal of the exhibition is to allow attendees the opportunity to experience art in the physical form, while remaining safe and socially distant from one another.

The event will be held in a parking lot, set up to allow those who go the ability to drive their cars to different areas to view the art on display. Drive Thru ATL will feature a large collection of artwork from 29 different Atlanta artists and 100% of the sales will go to those artists on view. Patrons can also receive information about the art they are viewing through their car radio.

The executive director of the Creatives Project, Neda Abghari, and Sara Santamaria, a featured artist in the exhibition joined, “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes for a conversation about the event, and what it was like arranging the unique viewing experience.
